In light of the reality that some people—such as refugees and single parents—are unable to improve their skills or obtain quality employment opportunities due to their social backgrounds, this corporation aims to support the career advancement of such individuals through IT skill education, accounting and administrative skill training, provision of employment opportunities, and employment support services.
General Provisions
Purpose
Name
This corporation shall be called General Incorporated Association Robo Co-op (一般社団法人Robo Co-op).
Business Activities
To achieve the purposes set forth in Article 1, this corporation shall carry out the following activities:
- Provision of skill-up support programs focused on IT skills and administrative skills such as accounting.
- Provision of employment opportunities that leverage IT skills acquired through skill-up support programs.
- Career placement services for companies targeting personnel who have completed skill-up support programs.
- Any other activities necessary to achieve the purposes of this corporation.
Location
This corporation shall maintain its principal office in Atsuta-cho, Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan.
Members
Categories of Members
The corporation shall have the following categories of members. Additional membership categories may be established separately.
Admission
Applicants wishing to become members shall submit the application form prescribed by the Board of Directors and obtain approval from the Representative Director.
Membership Fees
Members shall pay an admission fee of ¥3,000 in the first year. From the second year onwards, an annual membership fee of ¥3,000 shall be paid by the end of April each year. No refunds of fees shall be made in the event that membership is lost mid-year for any reason, including voluntary withdrawal, expulsion, or otherwise.
Member Rights
General Members and Business Support Members shall have the following rights with respect to the corporation:
- To engage in the corporation's programs and activities in accordance with organizational principles.
- To receive and share various information related to the corporation's programs and activities.
- To receive a fair share of the corporation's profits and assets according to membership category, as separately determined by the Board of Directors.
Member Obligations
General Members and Business Support Members shall have the following obligations to the corporation:
- To pay admission fees and membership fees necessary for the corporation's maintenance and continuity.
- To engage in the corporation's programs and activities.
- To respect the corporation's principles and conduct themselves in a manner befitting a member.
- To comply with the corporation's articles of incorporation, rules, and decisions of its governing bodies.
Withdrawal
Members may voluntarily withdraw at any time by submitting a withdrawal notice in the form prescribed by the Board of Directors. Except in cases of unavoidable circumstances, members shall give at least one month's prior notice to the corporation before withdrawing.
Members shall automatically lose their membership upon the occurrence of any of the following:
- All members consent to the withdrawal.
- The member dies, is dissolved, or is declared bankrupt.
Expulsion of Members
The Board of Directors may resolve to expel a member who falls under any of the following circumstances:
- Violation of the articles of incorporation or other rules of the corporation.
- Commission of a crime or other act that damages the reputation of the corporation or is contrary to its purposes.

Other legitimate grounds for expulsion, including but not limited to the following:
- ① Failure to fulfill membership fee payment obligations for two or more consecutive years.
- ② Failure to fulfill the obligations under Article 9 even after receiving a formal notice from the corporation.
- ③ Conducting transactions belonging to the corporation's business for one's own benefit or for the benefit of a third party.
- ④ Engaging in fraudulent acts in connection with the corporation's programs or activities.
- ⑤ Obstructing or attempting to obstruct the corporation's programs or activities.
- ⑥ Failure or inability to engage in the corporation's programs or activities for a substantial period due to the member's own responsibility, where it is determined that the member has lost the will or capacity to participate.
Obligation to Report Changes
Members must promptly notify the corporation when they lose member status, or when their name, trade name, representative, or address changes.
Amendment of Member Terms
The corporation may amend these Terms without obtaining prior consent from members in accordance with the provisions for amendment of standard terms under Article 548-4 of the Civil Code, when any of the following apply: changes in the social needs of refugees, single parents, or other target groups; amendments to relevant laws, ordinances, or regulations necessitating changes to these Terms; occurrence of events with significant social or economic impact on the corporation; or other circumstances deemed necessary by the corporation. In the event of amendments, the corporation shall provide notice of the amendment, the content of the revised Terms, and the effective date of the changes by means deemed appropriate by the corporation, such as delivery of written documents, disclosure on the internet, or transmission of email.
These Terms shall come into effect on October 8, 2021.
